Seems a bit odd to see just the heads in a row. Haven’t seen that in a while (one person I know just serves the tips and throws the rest of it away).

with a straw. A thick straw will quickly and neatly “peel” the asparagus. A thin stirrer/straw makes asparagus spaghetti.
