My parents tell a story about me when I was 3. They sent me for a glass of water and I came back with a glass with ice, a slice of lemon and a tulip for my mom. They grew in my back yard in Chile and it’s probably the most vibrant thing that I remember from Childhood. Great post and beautiful plating as always

The poem just about brought tears to my eyes. Just learned about this edible flower info page via Ideas In Food. Not that you need it but might be of interest to your readers. What resources do you use to know what is safe to eat?

I first began researching edible flowers when I was using them to decorate cakes. That was pre-internet and information was limited to books on horticulture. Nowadays, google is my friend. But I always check with at least 3 references when researching a plant that I am not familiar with.

I REALLY want to taste this one. Fresh, New, Not a rehash of one of the photos to the right. Ever. Well done. I am constantly impressed by this blog. As Albert Adria said, “Ideas are easy, you’ve just got to have some.”
